Mezzanine Flooring Washington West Sussex – Pragma Case Study
The Managing Director of Pragma contacted us, as they were going to move out of their Burgess Hill office to a new 600m/2 industrial unit in Washington, West Sussex.
We designed a mezzanine floor project to accommodate all the present staff, allowing for a 50% future growth. We also wanted to focus on incorporating an existing large window to allow as much natural lintoin to the building as possible.
On the first floor, we created a large Directors office including full height glazing complete with company logo film, as well as large open plan area, boardroom with dual aspect windows and a small meeting room.
On the ground floor, we added four additional toilets, a shower, a large staff rest area, a technical office, a Lab, a server room and a welcoming reception area.
The 300m/2 mezzanine floor was installed with two staircases, one to the warehouse and the main stair to reception that was completed with stainless steel handrail.
All the partitioning we installed for Pragma included fibreglass or rock wool infill to help with sound reduction.
For the electrics we installed three compartment trucking and all the data cable and power supplies, as well as all the lighting to the offices and warehouse in LED fittings, offering a great quality of lighting at a lower running cost.
