We were approached by Global Technologies Racing, a well-established and ever-expanding manufacturing company within the motor racing industry. They were looking to relocate office staff and expand their production area.
Having already installed a mezzanine floor within the existing building themselves, we were asked to configure the 250m2 first floor area into a modern office space, comprising of a suspended ceiling, two large open plan offices, two smaller offices a printing room, server room, meeting room, along with a staff rest area and new kitchen.
All the rooms were to be constructed using a combination of full height single glazed partitioning using 12mm toughened glass and tape and jointed stud walls. The doors for the first floor were either full height frame single glazed door or solid core timber veneered doors with a DDA compliant vision panel, all the door furniture was stainless steel with some of the door having electronic code-lock entry system.
On all the full height glazed wall we install a manifestation complete with company logos and artwork to create an impressive image as soon as you enter the first floor.
Each room was finished with the installation of Karndean flooring.
The kitchen we installed was designed to maximize the space with particularly with a modem look, including twin micro boiler and specialist double sink and drainer.
The ground floor production area required specialist steel partition walls, this was to ensure they were robust enough for the environment and able accommodate the large projects undertaken by the company yet still be of such a high standard to have clients visit the premises to showcase their work.
Working closely with the design team at GTR we were able to achieve all aspects of the clients brief as well as assist in installing a new mega flow hot water system to the existing WC area.
The project was completed within the agreed timescale and budget.
